The east port, which opened long ago, has been undergoing waterfront redevelopment under the "Fisherman's Wharf project, which was launched before any similar projects elsewhere in the country. The redevelopment efforts have been focusing on the Nusamai Bridge district where MOO (mixed-use passenger terminal and commercial facilities) and EGG (an all-weather green space) have opened.
